Needs for Blue Star Mothers…
Suggested Items for Military Care Packages
Food
Try to get food that is individually packaged and in hard containers or boxes so they don't get squished. Also, things that will not melt. During Summer months it gets up to 140 degrees, so keep that in mind. Winter months hand warmers, beanies (military green, or brown) are a good thing to send.
Any Candy- hard candy is best.
Chips and dip---try to get the "stacker" chips that are in the containers so they don't get squished or get the snack size chips that are individually wrapped and come in boxes (the school lunch kind is great)
